Michael Fimognari directed the film, and Abby McDonald wrote the screenplay. McDonald’s script for *Jingle Bell Heist* was recognized in 2022 as one of the best unproduced screenplays in the industry, according to the “Black List.” Matt Kaplan and ACE Entertainment are producing the movie.
Production began in December 2023, primarily in London. After a long wait, fans now have their first look at the upcoming holiday adventure – a fun and playful robbery – thanks to the release of the first trailer.
Netflix announced in August 2025 that the movie would premiere on their platform on November 26.
