It’s been confirmed that Netflix will continue Wednesday for a third season, which is exciting news since it comes only two weeks prior to the debut of Season 2.
The news was posted on the streamer’s official platform, previously known as Twitter, with a straightforward statement: “She always ensures to keep you in the loop.
With a poster verifying its continuation displayed, fans can breathe a sigh of relief, assured that the story of the Addams family will live on past the forthcoming season.
Alfred Gough, one of the co-creators and showrunners, explained to Netflix that television, from its inception, has been a collaborative effort and will continue to be so. Co-creator Miles Millar and I have accumulated enough experience to recognize that shows like this are not commonplace. The success of such a project is a blend of writing, directing, acting, crew work, support from the streaming platform, studio, and fans. We remain thankful and eager to proceed on this adventure, sharing these tales with all our collaborators.

Season 2 Drops Soon
Season 2 of Wednesday is set to roll out in two parts:
- Part 1 premieres August 6
- Part 2 follows on September 3

2022 saw Jenna Ortega’s series skyrocket to one of Netflix’s top-grossing productions upon its debut. Even today, Season 1 remains among the most popular English-language shows streamed on the platform. A devoted fan base and an endless supply of viral content have fueled anticipation for a third season, making it seem almost unavoidable.
Netflix hasn’t specified when Season 3 will be out, but since they renewed it early, it seems that either the production is underway or nearly so.
