Netflix House Retail Stores Are Coming to Philly and Dallas This Fall

Currently, Netflix finds itself in an intriguing position. This significant streaming platform appears to be shifting its strategies in various aspects. Instead of launching numerous television shows, a growing number of documentaries can be spotted. Although the absence of Stranger Things 5 will create a gap in content, Wednesday is working diligently to fill it. However, what else might be on the horizon is yet to be revealed. What is clear, though, is that Netflix is venturing beyond our television screens and into physical retail spaces. Their permanent stores, known as Netflix House, are set to debut in Philadelphia and Dallas this coming November.

As a movie enthusiast, I was intrigued by the news about Netflix setting up retail stores way back in 2023. It was exciting to imagine a space where one could find food, merchandise, and immersive experiences related to Netflix’s vast collection of shows and films. However, there was some ambiguity surrounding the locations these stores would inhabit, with only a vague promise that they would materialize in 2025.

To my delight, it seems that the streamer is keeping its word! The first Netflix House will be opening its doors at King of Prussia Mall in Philadelphia on November 12, and another is scheduled to open at Galleria Dallas on December 11. This development is a clear indication that Netflix is committed to enhancing the entertainment experience for its viewers.

Although I don’t live near either city, it’s refreshing to see less common places like these receive unique experiences such as Netflix’s House before the usual cities like LA and NYC. For now, it seems that only Las Vegas has been announced as the next destination for Netflix’s House in 2027.

At Netflix’s stores, entry is completely free! Some activities offered are complimentary, while others carry a small fee. Here’s a peek into the experiences you can enjoy at Netflix’s physical outlets:

Step right up and enter Netflix’s House for a delightful journey! Inside, you can engage in various activities that bring your favorite shows to life, combining both free and premium experiences. Snap some photos with iconic characters such as Queen Charlotte, watch blockbuster films like KPop Demon Hunters, indulge in meals and cocktails at Netflix Bites, or set sail on an adventure with friends, emulating the One Piece crew!

At Netflix House, the experiences are set to undergo changes, along with adjustments in ticket prices. For the time being, these expansive venues will feature the following:

  • Top 9 Mini Golf at Netflix House Philadelphia offers nine holes of gamified-mini golf where every golf ball and hole is connected with a live leaderboard, allowing for more fun and competitive play. Each hole is themed to characters and stories from popular series and events, including: Bridgerton, Is It Cake?, Stranger Things, WWE, Squid Game and more.
  • Netflix Virtuals at Netflix House Philadelphia lets fans play as the main character inside the worlds of Netflix shows and movies with immersive VR games, including: Stranger Things, Squid Game and Rebel Moon.
  • Netflix RePLAY at Netflix House Dallas includes interactive and fresh takes on traditional arcade games that you can play with friends. Fans will join the action of favorite shows and films, such as Floor is Lava, Love is Blind, Army of the Dead, Big Mouth, and more.
  • Larger scale feature experiences at both locations allow fans to transport themselves into some of Netflix’s most popular series: ONE PIECE: Quest for the Devil Fruit and Wednesday: Eve of the Outcasts in Philadelphia; Stranger Things: Escape the Dark and Squid Game: Survive the Trials in Dallas.
