As a seasoned gamer with years of gaming under my belt and a keen eye for quality, I must say that the reception for Naughty Dog’s new game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, has left me somewhat perplexed. With a dislike ratio that outshines even the most controversial trailers, it seems that this game might be struggling to find its footing among the gaming community.
The trailer unveiling Naughty Dog’s latest game, “Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet“, has garnered mixed reviews. A large number of viewers seem unhappy with it, and its performance so far is not as promising as that of other games.
As a passionate gamer, I’ve noticed an intriguing trend on PlayStation’s YouTube channel. The trailer for the upcoming game, Intergalactic, has been disliked by over 256,000 viewers, which is a staggering 524% more than the trailer for Concord by Firewalk Studios. Now, don’t get me wrong, Concord’s trailer did garner some negative feedback with 41,000 dislikes, but what stands out is that Intergalactic had significantly more views – a whopping 2.1 million compared to Concord’s 592,000.
As a fan myself, I must admit that the dislike percentage is quite disappointing when it comes to the trailer of “Intergalactic”. To my surprise, around 12.19% of viewers didn’t seem to enjoy it, which is nearly double the 6.92% for “Concord”. Despite “Intergalactic” garnering more likes at 4.62%, it still appears to have a hard time making an impression compared to its counterpart.
As a gamer, I tuned in to Naughty Dog’s channel hoping for an exciting new trailer, but the response was disappointing. The trailer amassed 1.3 million views, yet garnered a whopping 167,000 thumbs down and only 68,000 thumbs up. This means that a staggering 12.8% of viewers didn’t like it, while a comparatively smaller 5.23% did.
Compared to Concord’s gameplay trailer, which garnered 1.1 million views, it received significantly fewer likes (8,500) but also had far fewer dislikes (only 85,000 or about 7.72% of viewers). However, Intergalactic attracted a staggering 96.4% more dislikes than Concord’s trailer.
Let’s examine the Elden Ring Nightreign for a more optimistic viewpoint. The reveal trailer, posted by Bandai Namco, garnered an impressive 3.3 million views, amassing 177,000 likes with just 2,600 dislikes. This equates to 0.08% of viewers giving it a thumbs-down. In contrast, Intergalactic received nearly 94 times more dislikes than Elden Ring Nightreign did.
The Heretic Prophet” is receiving a lot more criticism than “Concord” or “Elden Ring Nightreign.” I’m curious as to what might be leading to such negative reactions.
