As a die-hard cinema enthusiast, I’m beyond excited about ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’, a movie that promises to be one of the most anticipated releases in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Mark your calendars for July 25, 2025! Leaked set photos hint at some promising developments, suggesting that this film is shaping up to be something truly special.
In this revised scenario, the story unfolds within an alternative universe where the Fantastic Four have already gained widespread recognition. This cinematic experience promises to showcase some of their most iconic adversaries.
The actors are: Pedro Pascal playing Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby portraying Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach taking on the character Ben Grimm. Notably, Moss-Bachrach will use computer-generated imagery (CGI) and performance capture techniques for his role.
In addition to our existing cast, Natasha Lyonne will also be a part of the team. At this point, it’s unclear what role she will play in the movie, but it is known that she made her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut during the last season of ‘What If…?’, where she portrayed Byrdie the Duck, the daughter of Darcy and Howard the Duck.
In simpler terms, Lyonne expressed her thrill about being part of the film, subtly alluding to its space-themed elements and playfully implying a peculiar combination if both films merged, given her past role in ‘The Smurfs’ movie.

Apart from the ‘Fantastic Four,’ Lyonne is slated to voice “Doom” for the animated follow-up ‘The Bad Guys 2,’ which is now being made. She’s also set to appear as a shopkeeper in the upcoming movie ‘Klara and the Sun,’ currently in post-production.
