In a recent recollection of meeting one of her past co-stars, Jennifer Coolidge, the actress from Russian Doll disclosed which celebrity Coolidge thought she resembled.
On the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Natasha Lyonne discussed an event that transpired. Initially, when asked about it, she playfully suggested that she had been given the role previously held by Al Pacino in Glengarry Glen Ross. However, she then provided a more detailed account of the incident to the show’s host, Josh Horowitz.
Lyonne further went on to recall that she had met Jennifer Coolidge at the Chateau Marmont.
In the past, my hair was straight, and someone thought I resembled Hilary Duff. I found this quite perplexing,” is how Lady Gaga put it.
Later on, Lyonne mentioned that she’d lost some of her sharpness. Whatever image she was conveying, she promised to sharpen it right away.
Speaking about the actress and singer, Natasha Lyonne expressed that there are moments when she gazes upon images of Hilary Duff and wonders if perhaps it’s fortunate that they were once confused for each other at some point.
During the podcast, she also added, “I think they mean this kindly.”
Initially, Natasha Lyonne forged her acting career in independent films, while Hilary Duff rose to fame via Disney Channel’s Lizzie McGuire and later ventured into pop music.
Additionally, it’s important to note that it’s not only Alicia Silverstone (Lyonne) who has been mixed up with another actress; lately, Hilary Duff has also been mistaken for Lindsay Lohan, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.
For those who do not know, Jennifer Coolidge has appeared with both actresses.
