Natasha Liu Bordizzo Shares New Behind-the-Scenes Photo from ‘Ahsoka’ Season 2

Fans are getting excited for the return of *Ahsoka*, as the second season of the Star Wars series is on its way.

Natasha Liu Bordizzo, the actress who plays Sabine Wren in the Disney+ show, recently posted a photo from behind the scenes of filming.

She wrote, “and as for this journey… it’s only going to get more amazing!” The post quickly gained attention from fans, offering a brief, exciting preview of what’s coming next in the story.

Season 2 of *Ahsoka* picks up where the story left off after *Return of the Jedi*, following Ahsoka Tano and her apprentice Sabine Wren on new adventures. Set in the same time period as *The Mandalorian*, they journey to a different galaxy and encounter new obstacles. At the same time, Grand Admiral Thrawn, commanding the remnants of the Galactic Empire, poses a threat to the New Republic’s hard-won peace.

Rosario Dawson reprises her role as Ahsoka Tano in this series, following her previous appearance in *The Mandalorian*. The cast also includes Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ivanna Sakhno, Eman Esfandi, Hayden Christensen, and Rory McCann, alongside Natasha Bordizzo.

Hayden Christensen reprises his role as Anakin Skywalker, and Ray Stevenson is succeeded by Katee McCann as Baylan Skoll.

Dave Filoni, a key creative force behind Star Wars, is back as the writer and showrunner for all eight episodes.

I have to say, I’m really intrigued by the direction they’re taking with *Ahsoka*. Instead of rushing into that big crossover movie everyone’s been anticipating, they’re really digging deeper into Ahsoka’s own journey, which I think is a smart move. And it’s exciting to see Bryce Dallas Howard behind the camera for a couple of episodes – she’s a fantastic director, and I’m eager to see what she brings to the Star Wars universe.

Production on Season 2 began in April in the UK and finished in late September, sources say. This new season, a collaboration between Lucasfilm and Golem Creations, will have eight episodes and will be available to stream only on Disney+.

The show will also feature familiar faces like Huyang, Thrawn, Chopper, Admiral Ackbar, and Garazeb “Zeb” Orrelios, further expanding the Star Wars universe and tying together different storylines.
