Did you hear some delightful and heartening news? You certainly did! At Nostalgia Con 2025 held in Houston, an extraordinary event took place that Naruto fans were thrilled to witness. For the first time ever, the two voice actors behind Naruto Uzumaki had the opportunity to meet each other. This is quite intriguing given that they began voicing the character back in 2007. Malie Flanagan lends her voice to the English dubbed version of Naruto, while Junko Takeuchi provides the original Japanese language voice for the show.
They appeared jointly on stage for a conversation, discussing various topics related to Naruto. Here’s a delightful interaction between the two Naruto voice actors, captured in a video by Anime Secrets, which you can watch below:

Flanagan and Takeuchi openly acknowledge instances within the series they’d like to redo their recordings for. It’s not uncommon for us to be self-critical about our previous (and at times current) works, which makes this admission understandable.
In our opinion, both individuals have consistently done an outstanding job voicing Naruto for almost two decades now. It’s also possible that they might develop a strong friendship and continue sharing their recording experiences with each other for many years.
