We often get inspired by outfits, picking up on a color, shape, or how something is styled. But sometimes, a look is so perfect you want to copy it exactly. This spring, Naomi Watts gave us one of those moments at New York Fashion Week.
At the Alice + Olivia show on February 14th, Watts wore a stylishly relaxed outfit that felt both luxurious and comfortable. The standout piece was a beautifully fitted, burnt red suede jacket from the brand’s new collection.
The jacket had a sophisticated feel with its flap pockets and gold buttons, but wasn’t too stuffy. She completed the look with light-wash flare jeans, also from Alice + Olivia, which kept the overall vibe cool and easygoing.

The light blue wash of the denim was a smart choice, offering a fresh, seasonal look compared to the darker washes often worn in winter. While the flare wasn’t overly pronounced, the cut subtly lengthened the legs, demonstrating that even a slight outward curve at the knee can make a noticeable difference.
The pairing of structured suede with the relaxed denim created a classic style that works for many different occasions. Beyond her recent fashion week appearance, Naomi Watts has been busy with several major television projects.
She currently stars in the FX series Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, which premiered in February, where she plays Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, bringing a thoughtful and dignified performance to the role of the former First Lady in the 1990s. The show has been praised for its emotional depth and its exploration of the Kennedy family’s life under intense public attention. Watts also leads in Ryan Murphy’s legal drama All’s Fair on Hulu, which has been renewed for a second season.
Alongside Kim Kardashian, Sarah Paulson, and Glenn Close, Watts plays Liberty Ronson, a powerful divorce attorney. The show has quickly become a cultural phenomenon, combining dramatic legal cases with stunning fashion.
Naomi Watts has a busy year ahead, including a role in a new film directed by Cody Fern. Currently filming in Montreal, the movie is a dramatic family story co-starring Sarah Paulson and Dianne Wiest, where Watts plays Paulson’s sister.
Watts is also solidifying her reputation as a leading actress in high-quality television. Beyond acting, she continues to lead Stripes Beauty, her wellness brand focused on menopause, which is now available in Ulta Beauty stores nationwide.
She recently released a paperback version of her book, Dare I Say It: Everything I Wish I’d Known About Menopause, and continues to champion open conversations about aging and support women’s health.
