“There are three changes to Bakugo. First, the Howitzer Impact has become cooler. It is so powerful. Second, there is a scene where he cares about Deku. There have never been many scenes like that to date. So I felt he really cares about Deku here. A brief about Katsuki Bakugo 

Katsuki Bakugo, nicknamed “Kacchan,” is a pupil at U.A. High School’s Class 1-A, aiming to be a Pro Hero. He holds the role of second lead in the storyline. Initially blunt, arrogant, and quick-tempered, Katsuki has an abrasive demeanor, especially at the outset. His unheroic conduct stretches back to his early years when he tormented Izuku Midoriya, a Quirkless boy, mercilessly. Katsuki displayed an excessive pride in his Explosion Quirk and belittled those around him, frequently boasting about defeating his entire middle school class single-handedly.

He was very hostile towards Izuku due to Izuku being quirkless in the past. Without having a quirk himself, he mockingly called Izuku ‘Deku.’ He tried to prevent Izuku from applying to U.A. High School and got angry when they both got accepted.

Katsuki ranks among the strongest students in Class 1-A, demonstrated through his third place finish in the Quirk Capture Test, first place in the U.A. The versatility of Explosion makes it an ideal ability for combat scenarios; as Katsuki can take advantage of the force generated by the blasts for enhanced mobility.

Katsuki boasts an impressive physical strength, as shown by his ability to use Grenade Bracers without feeling the recoil’s impact, while Izuku almost dislocated his arm attempting the same. He can effortlessly lift and hurl individuals of Izuku’s stature a significant distance with just one hand. His might is also sufficient to make Izuku bleed with a single kick when using only 5% of One For All’s power.

Katsuki boasts remarkable agility and quickness, surpassing average human abilities. His reflexes are noteworthy from the start, but they become particularly impressive in critical moments.
