In ‘Major,’ characters Koichi and Pop encounter Captain Stardust, a former top American hero who has since moved to Japan due to scandals. His flamboyant demeanor, marked by arrogance and self-aggrandizement, rubs Koichi the wrong way – this is further exacerbated when Stardust claims credit for defeating a Kaiju Antagonist.
In a surprising turn of events, it was disclosed that Makoto had been communicating with Celebrity’s estranged spouse, Pamela. His aim was to aid the celebrity in making positive changes. Later on, Pamela rejuvenated his public persona by associating him with a cheerleading squad consisting of both male and female members. The news left Koichi in a state of worry when he discovered that his strict mother, Shoko, was planning a visit. In an attempt to hide this, he falsely claimed having a girlfriend, which ultimately led Pop to walk away in humiliation.
