As a devoted fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I can’t help but feel a pang of sympathy for Morena Baccarin after learning about her harrowing experience during the filming of ‘Deadpool 2’. It’s heart-wrenching to imagine going through such an ordeal, only for the scene to be discarded.
In simpler terms, ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is the newest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and its impressive performance at the box office suggests that viewers are really enjoying it. The film brings back actors who have appeared in earlier versions, as well as popular characters from other live-action Marvel shows that fans adore.
Backstage snaps show that the actors enjoyed filming the movie, which isn’t always true for previous installments of the series.
As a gamer putting myself in Morena Baccarin’s shoes, I’ve gotta admit, those romantic scenes with Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool were a tad awkward, especially considering the, let’s say, revealing nature of his suit. And, during our Deadpool 2 adventure together, my eyes took quite a beating!
In ‘Deadpool 2’, the character portrayed by Baccarin perishes at an early stage of the movie, only to be brought back to life later when Deadpool retrieves a time-traveling gadget from Cable. Some moments in this film were particularly graphic and intense.
I’ve experienced some truly terrifying moments in my life, but few compare to the time we submerged an entire apartment in a gigantic underwater tank and had to navigate through it while strapped down to a chair with an escape hatch that was both elusive and disconcertingly dark. It was like plunging into an abyss, swimming blindly in the pitch-black water, trying to find the exit while my heart raced and adrenaline coursed through my veins. It was a living nightmare, one I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
The worst part is, that the scene ended up being cut from the film.
“It wasn’t even in the film, made me so mad,”
Fans quickly pointed out that this is exactly what they would expect from Hollywood:
It’s quite unfortunate, isn’t it? All that effort put into creating a poignant scene, only for it to be discarded in the end. The film industry can indeed be merciless at times.

Could there be any legal recourse available for her, given that she was compensated but still had to endure the hard work, injury, and the scene ultimately being removed from the final edit? It’s understandable if she feels frustrated under these circumstances.
