In more straightforward terms, Montel Williams and Kamala Harris, the former Vice President, had a close relationship at one point. Lately, though, they’ve found themselves embroiled in a scandalous allegation.
Meanwhile, the popular television figure decided to address the rumor that was rapidly spreading on social media by debunking it and bringing closure to the issue.
According to Vibe, I came across a distasteful tweet from a previous Twitter user who claimed there’s an explicit video involving Montel Williams and Harris circulating online.
On Halloween, Williams publicly expressed his astonishment on social media, stating that he found out about a blogger (whom he hadn’t known before) claiming that a “sex tape featuring me” was being circulated. He also mentioned that this blogger had garnered millions of views by spreading this rumor.
Additionally, he passionately declared, “Let’s shatter the web with the truth – there is no tape. The rising popularity of @KamalaHQ seems to be causing some unease among certain individuals.
On October 28, the rumor was posted by the user @MattWallace888 on the specified social media site.
“My friend, who happens to be the CEO of a major tech firm, recently shared with me an unverified claim that there’s a private video circulating which supposedly features Kamala Harris and Montel Williams in a compromising situation.” The key difference is using more formal language while keeping the meaning intact.
Previously, he remarked that if this hypothesis proved correct, it could shatter the online world and significantly harm Harris’s reputation and electoral efforts, since the election was just eight days off.
In response to the host and actor, Williams, I, Matt Wallace, took to Twitter to share an update with my followers regarding X, expressing gratitude for the clarification provided by him.
In the year 2019, Montel Williams posted a tweet querying people about what made it significant that they (Montel and Harris) had dated around two decades earlier, when they were both unattached at the time.
Additionally, Williams expressed that he has high regard for Senator Harris at the time, but questioned whether political figures would give equal attention to the romantic past of a male presidential candidate as they seem to with her case.
During the 2020 presidential election, Harris was campaigning for the vice-presidency, while Williams received notice due to discussions among both fellow citizens and political adversaries regarding the senator’s previous romantic relationships at that time.
According to The Wrap, Montel Williams expressed his endorsement for Kamala Harris in July 2024 when he shared a tweet supporting Maryland Governor Wes Moore.
