On February 28th, we’re set to debut “Monster Hunter Wilds“, the most recent installment in Capcom’s much-admired action game series. Prior to its official launch, enthusiasts were given a chance to join the second open beta test for “Monster Hunter Wilds” and get a feel for the game. Participants of this open beta test will receive complimentary rewards in the full version, such as a Stuffed Felyne Teddy pendant and Bonus Item Pack. Additionally, players can transfer their character creation data to the game once “Monster Hunter Wilds” is officially released.
On Capcom’s official site for Monster Hunter Wilds, they’ve added helpful details about moving your character creation info from the beta version to the full game. Inside the Character Creation section of Monster Hunter Wilds, users can click on a “Design” menu and choose the “Beta Test Data” option to transfer hunter and Palico data from the test phase. To carry out this transfer, you’ll need an active internet connection, and it won’t work if your copy of Monster Hunter Wilds isn’t fully downloaded and set up. Keep in mind that only hunter and Palico data will be transferred, so any weapons, gear, or other items you obtained during the beta test cannot be brought over to the full game.
How to Transfer Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Character Creation Data to the Full Game
- In the Monster Hunter Wilds Character Creation menu, open the Design menu.
- Select the Beta Test Data option to transfer hunter or Palico data.
- Repeat the second step to transfer other hunter or Palico data if necessary.
In some cases, character creation details can’t be moved into Monster Hunter Wilds due to specific designs or unexpected problems that prevent the data from being compatible with the full game version. As per Capcom, such issues may arise. Furthermore, the character designs saved at the end of the second Monster Hunter Wilds open beta test will be used for the transfer, which means any character data from the first open beta test has been replaced. If a player chooses to begin anew with a fresh hunter and Palico, they can still transport their hunter and Palico data from the beta test by using a Character Edit Voucher or Palico Edit Voucher respectively.
Following its debut, players of Monster Hunter Wilds can anticipate occasional limited-time mission challenges along with regular post-release updates. The preliminary update for Monster Hunter Wilds is set to roll out in early April, and it will incorporate the returning creature Mizutsune, fresh event quests, and a new monster that’s tougher than the Tempered monsters, known for being more challenging compared to their standard counterparts.
