In the savage landscapes of Monster Hunter Wilds, these fearsome creatures possess deadly maneuvers that could prove fatal. Remarkably, some gamers have devised intriguing methods to evade these attacks, one such technique being expressive movements akin to emotes.
As a gamer diving headfirst into Monster Hunter Wilds, I’ve stumbled upon an intriguing find in The Photo Pose Set Vol. 1. For just $3.99, you can acquire a handful of unique emotes that add a touch of flair to your gaming experience. One such emote is the Photo Pose: Vanish Sign. This little trick lets my hunter soar into the air unexpectedly, making me dodge an attack in a most peculiar manner, and surprisingly, I pull it off!

This method offers an enjoyable and potentially reliable way to bypass Mizutsune’s aquatic beam sweeps. However, whether it provides a significant advantage or not is debatable, as its use seems limited to highly specific situations and requires careful planning and foresight. Nonetheless, it certainly adds a fun twist to the gameplay.
In Monster Hunter, it’s not uncharted waters to see unique, intriguing exchanges triggered by an emote. For instance, the Street Fighter Hadoken emote incorporated in Monster Hunter World sparked some peculiar interactions, with one player choosing to ‘Hadoken’ their way throughout the entire game, exclusively using this move. Ryu would undoubtedly applaud such dedication.
In addition to the Dragoon Jump emote that accompanied the Behemoth battle in World, these uncommon evasive maneuvers and interactions are more similar to a charming extra rather than a game-altering feature. Players may be disappointed that they’ll have to purchase the pack to experiment with dodging it themselves, but aside from being a useful tactic for one of Mizu’s moves, the radial menu emote dodge appears both enjoyable and harmless.
The Festival of Blooming Harmony has begun, bringing a fresh wave of new attire, seasonal dishes, cherry blossoms, and other delights to the central area. Players can engage in battles with the creatures introduced in Title Update 1 while preparing for the arrival of Title Update 2 this summer.
