Capcom shared that they’re listening to feedback from Monster Hunter Wilds gamers and making some adjustments to the game. On social media, they’ve disclosed that Arch-tempered monsters, initially intended to appear on a rotating schedule with other event quests, will now be accessible for hunting at any time, regardless of the day you choose to play.
Starting from July 16, the ongoing Arch-tempered Rey Dau event quest in Monster Hunter Wilds will temporarily reappear. But, come July 23, with the Festival of Accord: Flamefete event, this quest will become a permanent fixture in the game. Simultaneously, on that same day, Arch-tempered Uth Duna, one of the new additions following Title Update 2, will also be made permanently accessible.
The organization has mentioned they might keep some upcoming Arch-tempered quests permanent in Monster Hunter Wilds, and there are further enhancements expected in the game down the line.
The company announced on social media that they’re thinking about keeping the event quests for future Arch-tempered monsters and other events running indefinitely. Once they’ve worked out the specifics of these changes, they’ll let everyone know what exactly is changing and when it will take effect.
Capcom is actively working to enhance “Monster Hunter Wilds” following a recent effort to boost its quality. The company has been listening to player feedback to tackle concerns that led to the game’s currently low Steam rating being labeled as “Overwhelmingly Negative.” They’ve stated, “Our development team is examining user feedback, both from direct comments and online discussions, and will make improvements through future updates when appropriate.
Recently, Monster Hunter Wilds received its second title update. The main attractions of this update are the comeback of two monsters from earlier games in the series: Lagiacrus and Seregios. Notably, the Lagiacrus hunt incorporates some of the underwater combat mechanics that were featured in Monster Hunter Tri. This marks the first return of Lagiacrus since Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, which was released in 2011.
Update 2 not only introduced monsters but also other enhancements, such as an innovative Layered Weapon system that lets players customize their weapon’s appearance. This was a highly anticipated feature among gamers due to the fact that many powerful weapons in the game share a similar look because they belong to the Artian weapon lineage.
As a devoted fan, I eagerly anticipate the upcoming title update 3 for Monster Hunter Wilds, scheduled for release in September. This exciting new version will introduce fresh monsters and an array of innovative features, including talisman crafting, and tougher quests offering exclusive rewards. The game developers are also working on a new talisman system that will allow for random skills to be added to talismans, with the possibility of earning decoration slots to customize your abilities even further.
You can play the game “Monster Hunter Wilds” on PC, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series X/S. For a comprehensive overview, be sure to read our review.
