Monster Hunter Wilds director tried to rescue fans in multiplayer, but carted “before anyone else”

Following years of development on Monster Hunter Wilds, its director Yuya Tokuda has persisted in playing the action role-playing game since its release. Regrettably, his endeavors to join the fan community in their mission to hunt down countless monsters have not yielded positive results.

As players strive to intensify the challenge by speeding through all aspects of the game, Tokuda unsuccessfully attempted to provide online assistance for them.

In a newly released video, Monster Hunter World’s director, Yuya Tokuda, shared that this was his initial experience playing online multiplayer with fans. Upon responding to a distress signal (SOS flare) for a mission involving Gore Magala, the director promptly departed from the quest.

In a recent hunt against Gore Magala, I summoned help using an SOS signal and unfortunately got knocked out first. However, we ultimately succeeded in completing the quest!

Apart from sharing a delightful story, the amusing game director unveiled that there are substantial future plans for the franchise. Not only will the anticipated post-release support for the game materialize through ongoing updates and possibly an extension, but Capcom also has strategies in place for the remainder of the series.
