Monster Hunter Wilds devs “have polished our game as much as possible,” producer says, which might not be very reassuring for the PC players experiencing performance issues

Monster Hunter Wilds kicked off its Steam debut with quite a ride, soaring to new heights in player numbers and scaling up the leaderboards for all-time simultaneous players, yet simultaneously receiving a mix of reviews due to performance problems. This comes even though developers claim they’ve fine-tuned the game as meticulously as they could.

Many players are finding it difficult to make Monster Hunter Wilds function optimally as intended, with some calling its performance “horrendous.” Others have even suggested that the final release performs more poorly than the open beta version did.
