The newest installment in the Monster Hunter Stories series, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, comes out next week! Capcom showed off a launch trailer during a recent presentation. While the trailer didn’t reveal much new information, it did hint at the possible appearance of Narwa the Allmother, a monster from Monster Hunter Rise.
The highly anticipated sequel launches on March 13th for Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, and PlayStation 5. The story centers around a long-standing conflict between two kingdoms, which is brought to a critical point when a world-ending threat called the Crystal Encroachment appears. Just as things seem dire, twin Rathalos are born, adding another layer to the unfolding events.
For fans of the series, seeing two Rathalos monsters is a huge deal, hinting at a major crisis. Players will team up with one of them to try and save the world, and along the way, they’ll encounter and collect other impressive monsters. These include creatures from Monster Hunter Wilds like Arkveld, Chatacabra, and Rey Dau, as well as Magnamalo, Ibushi, Malzeno, and Narwa from Monster Hunter Rise, and even more beyond that.
Habitat Restoration lets you capture and modify monsters, giving them special abilities and elements – it’s also a great way to find rare species like Dreadqueen Rathian. Be sure to try the free demo, as your progress will transfer to the full game! If you’ve played previous Monster Hunter games, you can unlock outfits for their main characters. Plus, transferring save data from Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Wilds will give you the Kamura Garb and Hope Armor sets, respectively.
