Halloween is almost here, and there’s a lot to look forward to – like candy, costumes, and fun parties! Plus, Monster Hunter Now is joining the celebration with some spooky new events!
Okay, so this year’s event is bringing in the Brute Tigrex, which is basically a super-charged version of the Tigrex. This thing is way more aggressive than normal, and its roar? Seriously powerful! Of course, that means we can hunt it down and craft some awesome new gear – I’m already planning my build around the Rex Roar armor set. Can’t wait to try it out!
This Halloween, we’re introducing a new weapon called the Skullwhistle! Between October 27th and November 2nd, you can collect Halloween 2025 Exchange Tokens by finishing quests and defeating monsters. Use these tokens to get awesome rewards.

These rewards include the aforementioned Skullwhistle, a Hunting Horn with the Paralysis element. You can also nab the event-exclusive Jack-o’-Glove layered equipment at the event exchange hub. Be sure to check the in-game shop and web store for exclusive packs too!
Keep an eye out for monsters like Brute Tigrex, Tigrex, Espinas, Bishaten, and Bazelgeuse – they’ll be appearing frequently in the hunting areas. The faster you defeat them, the better, because you’ll get a discount on upgrading the special Halloween equipment. So, get hunting and start collecting materials for a brand new set of gear!
