Cardi B appears to cherish her fans, yet she doesn’t feel they should have the power to decide her newborn child’s name. Following a fan page for the artist reposting an ultrasound image of her unborn baby and labeling it “Hurricane,” Cardi swiftly dismissed the proposed nickname.
“On their X fan page, they posted an ultrasound image of Baby Hurricane, originating from Cardi B’s September Instagram upload. To this, Cardi B responded with a question, “Who?” and added some crying emoji faces.”
In her Instagram post featuring three pictures, two showing her seated on a motorcycle with an exposed midriff and the third displaying an ultrasound image, she expressed her eagerness to meet her little one by saying, “I can’t wait to finally see my sweet pea!”
For those unaware, Cardi is a mother to her 6-year-old daughter Kulture Kairi and soon-to-be 3-year-old son Wave Set, who turns 3 on September 4. She has these children, as well as the baby she is currently expecting, with her estranged husband Offset, whom she filed for divorce from on the very same day she announced her third pregnancy.
On Instagram on August 1st, Cardi expressed gratitude for the arrival of her third child, who has inspired her to embrace the idea that every conclusion paves the way for a fresh start. She conveyed her joy in understanding that she can have everything – a fulfilling life, love, and her passion – without having to make difficult choices. The singer eagerly anticipates her newborn experiencing the hurdles and victories they’ve navigated alongside their older siblings.
Despite filing for divorce, Cardi B and Offset appeared happy together at their youngest son’s early birthday party on August 31. The celebration, themed around airplanes, was filled with joy as the toddler played alongside his parents, older siblings Jordan (14), Kody (9), and Kalea Marie (9), who are Offset’s children from past relationships.
Two musicians posted videos and pictures of Wave on their Instagram stories. Cardi B shared a video of Wave dancing exuberantly with his dad, while Offset posted a picture of Wave being held by his mother on her hip, with her showing off her baby bump in a white cropped T-shirt.
In February 2017, Cardi B and Offset started their relationship during their first date at the Super Bowl. They got married later that year, and Kulture was born in July 2018.
