According to Deadline, he will take on a significant antagonistic character named Al, inspired by Kansas City and suspected of being a serial killer.

As reported by the source, Stonestreet is set to feature in four episodes of the show, with a significant role in the plot. Notable additions to the impressive ensemble of Dexter: Resurrection include Krysten Ritter (as Mia) and Neil Patrick Harris (as Lowell), who are speculated to depict serial killers.

According to Deadline, Monica Raymund will take charge of four episodes, while Marcos Siega will direct six episodes in this upcoming series. The show is scheduled to debut on Paramount+ during the summer of 2025.
