On December 19th, I (as an overly enthusiastic fan) proudly shared a snapshot of a delightful cake, elegantly placed on a golden platter within a cardboard container. Accompanying the image was a message penned by the talented actress Mindy Kaling, using the intriguing abbreviation, “IYKYK.” To cap off her brief but tantalizing note, she added a sly side-eye emoji and a playful tongue emoji.
Earlier, Glen Powell, who acted alongside Tom Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick, mentioned that he had received the cake as well. He even posted a photo of it on his Instagram story with the caption, “The Cruise cake has been delivered.
As I was unboxing my freshly baked holiday treat, I found a heartfelt message tucked inside, “To Glen Powell, Warmest Wishes from Tom Cruise this festive season.” It’s moments like these that make the holiday spirit truly shine!
Earlier on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the actor from Twister complimented a cake. He shared that his friends who tasted it were so fond of it that they would contact him as early as December 1st to ask if the cake had arrived yet.
The actor from “Anyone But You” remarked, “Now, I’m hosting a gathering at my place, which I’ve named the ‘Cruise Cake Party.’ I’ll be serving a piece or two of the Cruise cake and asking folks to join. However, I need to keep the numbers manageable. I can’t allow for multiple helpings as I must control the crowd.
He ended his conversation by saying, “It’s usually demolished by the end of the night.”
