Yacht Club Games, the team behind Shovel Knight, has announced that their new game, Mina the Hollower, won’t be launching on October 31, 2025, as previously expected. They haven’t announced a new release date yet, but they’ve reassured fans that the delay isn’t significant.
Yacht Club Games announced this week that they’re postponing the release of Mina the Hollower. The team has been working incredibly hard to launch the game on October 31st, but they need a little more time to add finishing touches and ensure everything is perfectly balanced. It’s not a big delay – just enough time to make the game its best.
The team is currently putting the finishing touches on the game, including artwork, sound, and design. They’re also working on balancing gameplay, adding language support, and thoroughly testing it on all available platforms – and apparently, enjoying some cheese along the way!
Testing Mina the Hollower on all the planned platforms – PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X|S, and both Nintendo Switch models – is a huge undertaking.
Yacht Club Games will announce the release date for Mina the Hollower as soon as the game has been approved on all platforms.
