As Steve’s time with his family was unfortunately limited, Mina noted, “We aimed to secure the lake house for Jack and Charlie – for their future, for memories they’ll cherish, and for the experiences that will enrich their lives.”

On HGTV, the new spinoff series titled “Mina’s Lake Adventure” is set to debut. The initial 90-minute episode will follow Mina as she purchases and renovates a lakeside property, providing a glimpse into the Hawks’ mission to turn their dream into a tangible reality. Additionally, it delves into the personal meaning behind this project for them.

In the spin-off of Good Bones, Karen E. Laine – Mina’s mother from the original series – takes center stage. Instead of renovating homes in Indiana like before, she now ventures into a new project in Wilmington, North Carolina: transforming a 120-year-old bungalow into a charming beach house. This ambitious endeavor carries significant financial risk as Karen has used her retirement savings to fund this project.
