Based on a recent article from What’s on Netflix, filming for the project has begun. Following the debut of its second part, there had been a lot of talk about a potential third installment. It was only in 2023 when Collider released an article that the production of another film was officially confirmed.

It seems Netflix had plans for the third part of a project last year, according to sources. They shared with What’s on Netflix that filming was expected to begin in early 2025 (which ProductionWeekly later confirmed as Q1 2025), and at that point, they hadn’t yet chosen a director for the project.

In 2024, it was later announced by Deadline that Philip Barantini would direct the upcoming project. However, specifics regarding the movie’s storyline have been kept under wraps.

In regards to the characters for this new project, Brown is set to reprise her role as the main character; in addition to her, there’s talk about Henry Cavill and Louis Partridge, who were part of the earlier films, potentially returning to the production once more, according to reports.
