Highland Film Group has released the first trailer for Protector, an upcoming action thriller featuring Milla Jovovich. Jovovich stars as Nikki, a former soldier trying to enjoy a peaceful life with her daughter, Chloe, when her dangerous past catches up to her.
The story takes a shocking turn when Nikki wakes up in an abandoned factory and discovers Chloe has been kidnapped. Driven to rescue her, Nikki finds herself navigating the dangerous world of the city’s criminals. This search quickly makes her a target, pursued by both the police and the military, and turns her into the city’s most wanted fugitive.

Milla Jovovich stars in the new film Protector, alongside Matthew Modine and Isabel Myers, who has appeared in Mixed-ish. Filming recently finished in New Mexico.
I was really interested to see this new film, especially knowing Adrian Grünberg – the guy who directed Rambo: Last Blood and Get the Gringo – was at the helm. The script came from Bong-Seob Mun, which also piqued my interest. It was a collaborative production, with Kenneth Kim, Ho-Sung Pak, and Mun working out of Aanaxion Studio, and Ceasar Richbow, Arianne Fraser, and Delphine Perrier contributing through Highland Film Group.
