While at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards earlier this month, the singer and actress briefly mentioned the show’s 20th anniversary. When asked about it during a red carpet interview with Variety’s Marc Malkin, she didn’t share specifics, but instead playfully hinted at it, saying, “You see the bangs,” and pointing to her hairstyle with a smile.
Cyrus received the Outstanding Artistic Achievement Award for her song “Dream As One,” featured in James Cameron’s latest film, Avatar: Fire and Ash. She wore a striking black Tom Ford suit with a plunging neckline. Though the outfit was very modern, her hairstyle was a nostalgic throwback to her early days, with soft blonde waves and bangs reminiscent of her look as Hannah Montana, which fans immediately recognized.

In a recent Rolling Stone interview, she discussed her deep connection with her fans, emphasizing how much she values them. She wants them to feel recognized and acknowledged, saying, “I want the fans to really feel seen.” Cyrus also noted that while she’s changed over time, she believes her fans have grown and evolved right alongside her.
Hannah Montana premiered in 2006 and was a hit for five years, launching Miley Cyrus to international fame. The show remains popular with many fans, and as the 20th anniversary nears, everyone is eager to find out what Miley and her team have in store.
