Miley Cyrus Recalls Getting ‘Brutal Infection’ By Rolling Around on Hollywood Walk of Fame During Something Beautiful Shoot

Miley Cyrus recently disclosed that she contracted a severe infection following her work on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her upcoming visual album titled Something Beautiful. On her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the singer explained that she fell ill soon after filming a scene where she played around on the well-known pavement.

Miley explained to Kimmel that she recorded the video in October, and by Thanksgiving, she had been briefly admitted into the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). She added that this happened because the hospital was overcrowded on that particular holiday.

Here’s What Happened to Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus described the beginning of her knee infection, stating, “I noticed my leg was deteriorating…in the region of my kneecap.” Later, a doctor inquired about potential causes for the infection, prompting her to remember shooting scenes while lying on the ground.

Miley mentioned that she had to clarify the situation with the surgeon, and was taken aback when he responded with “eww”. She went on to explain that although surgeons are accustomed to dissecting cadavers and performing intricate human procedures like brain operations, this particular injury still seemed repulsive to him.

The upcoming movie, titled “Something Beautiful,” is promised to offer a distinctive visual journey blending fantasy and an exceptional pop opera soundtrack. This film is set to hit theaters on June 12, a mere two weeks after its namesake 9th studio album was released digitally on May 30.

The project blends Miley’s tunes with imaginative video elements. However, the performer confessed that certain financial compromises were necessary during production, particularly regarding the film’s budget.

Although Miley acknowledged having a decent budget, she confessed that the majority of it was spent on purchasing costumes. To Jimmy Kimmel, she revealed that almost all her funds were directed towards her wardrobe. When questioned about hiring a location for filming, she disclosed that she opted to shoot during the wee hours of the night instead.

Miley inquired from Kimmel if he had ever visited the Walk of Fame at that moment, mentioning she thought it might have been her final day. However, she later became uncomfortable about disclosing the story, but Kimmel consoled her by stating that she demonstrated genuine passion and came close to sacrificing herself for the project.
