Miley Cyrus seemed disappointed when Lady Gaga won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album this Sunday. Both singers were nominated in the category: Miley for her 2025 album, Something Beautiful, and Lady Gaga for her popular album, Mayhem.

When Lady Gaga won, she immediately started crying and kissed her fiancé, Michael Polansky, as the audience gave her a standing ovation. Sabrina Carpenter, who didn’t win, happily cheered and applauded to show her support.

When the cameras focused on Miley Cyrus, age thirty-three, she stayed seated and didn’t join the standing ovation. She seemed to quietly say something to her fiancé, Maxx Morando, with a slight, unimpressed smile.
