Miley Cyrus has unveiled the title of her upcoming visual album – Something Beautiful. Set to launch on May 30, 2025, this project follows her latest studio album, Endless Summer Vacation, which hit shelves on March 10, 2023.
For the ninth time, Cyrus is set to release a new studio album, featuring 13 fresh tracks that she has jointly produced with Shawn Everett. Notably, Everett has also collaborated with artists such as Kacey Musgraves and Alabama Shakes in the past.
The album can now be pre-purchased, offering several options like signed vinyl records, exclusive editions, compact discs, and two collector’s box sets filled with fan merchandise for dedicated enthusiasts.
Miley Cyrus, known for her hit song “The Climb,” unveiled the cover art for her album too. It’s a striking and dynamic image captured by globally acclaimed photographer Glen Luchford. In this photo, she’s wearing vintage Thierry Mugler couture from 1997.

The artwork for the album was taken by famous fashion photographer Glen Luchford. In it, Miley Cyrus is adorned with vintage 1997 Thierry Mugler gowns, subtly referencing the album’s daring style and narrative.
For about a week now, Cyrus has been building anticipation for Something Beautiful, subtly hinting at it through her social media platforms. Before officially announcing the album on her accounts, she shared enigmatic black-and-white posters depicting her silhouette as a teaser.
People started noticing changes in her account titles that linked to her new album, and advertising campaigns plus billboards popped up in different countries, creating a global excitement.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Cyrus explained that the visual aspect of her new album significantly influences its musical style. She emphasized the importance of each song possessing healing sound qualities.
She stated, “Regardless if the lyrics depict destruction, heartache, or death, these songs are made appealing as there’s an element of beauty found even in the darkest moments of our lives.
In 2023, Miley Cyrus’ eighth studio album yielded the chart-topping single “Flowers,” which dominated various music charts for extended periods, shattering several streaming records along the way. That same year, Cyrus was honored with the Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance awards at the Grammys.
