Okay, so Micron. Last year, this stock… blasted higher? 239%? Really? It’s like everyone suddenly remembered computers need memory. And now they’re calling it a top performer in the Nasdaq-100? It’s just… irritating. Like when someone starts using a word incorrectly and everyone just accepts it. Anyway, the stock went up. Fine. But the hype? The hype is what gets me. They act like this is some revolutionary breakthrough. It’s memory chips. It’s not curing cancer.
And now everyone’s saying you “missed your opportunity?” Please. That’s just a tactic to get you to FOMO into something. I mean, it went up a lot, sure, but the stock is still… reasonably priced? They say that like it’s a good thing. It should be ridiculously expensive if it’s this AI darling. That’s the whole point. It’s a market. Supply and demand. It’s not rocket science. But they try to make it sound complicated. Like they’re doing you a favor by explaining it.
The AI Memory Thing: It’s Just Layers, Okay?
So, Nvidia and AMD. Everyone’s talking about GPUs. Graphics processing units. Apparently, they’re the key to all this AI stuff. And they have these… architectures. Hopper, Blackwell, Vera Rubin. It sounds like a fancy hotel chain. And Nvidia owns 92% of the market? That’s… unsettling. Monopolies are never good. It’s just… not right.
AMD is trying to catch up, apparently. MI400 accelerators. Sounds like something you’d find in a particle physics lab. But the point is, everyone’s focused on the processors. The brains of the operation. And they forget about the memory. Which is… infuriating. It’s like building a beautiful house with a terrible foundation. You need the memory to store all the data. It’s basic. It’s common sense.
Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta… they’re all building these data centers. Spending billions on AI infrastructure. And what do you think they need? More processors? Yes. But also… memory. Lots and lots of memory. And that’s where Micron comes in. It’s not complicated. It’s just… logical. But people don’t see it. They get distracted by the shiny objects. The processors. The architectures. It’s exhausting.
Wall Street Estimates: Numbers. Just Numbers.
So, they’re saying DRAM and NAND prices could go up 60% and 38%? Okay, fine. Numbers. But what does that even mean? It means hyperscalers are paying more for memory. Which is good for Micron. But it also means they’re passing those costs on to us. The consumers. It’s a cycle. A never-ending cycle of price increases. And everyone acts like it’s a surprise. Like it’s some unforeseen consequence. It’s predictable. It’s frustrating.
And they’ve already “sold out” of their 2026 HBM inventory? Seriously? That’s just… bad planning. Or a brilliant marketing ploy. I can’t decide which. Either way, it’s irritating. And now Wall Street is predicting over 340% earnings growth? Come on. That’s just… excessive. It sets unrealistic expectations. It’s a recipe for disaster. But they don’t care. They just want to generate headlines.
Valuation: It’s All Relative, Isn’t It?
They say Micron is trading at a “discount” relative to other AI chip leaders? A discount! That’s like saying a slightly less overpriced coffee is a bargain. It’s still overpriced! And they blame it on the “cyclical nature” of the memory chip market? That’s just an excuse. A convenient way to justify the inflated valuations. It’s infuriating.

They say Micron could soar to $650 to $800? That’s a wide range. It’s like they’re just throwing darts at a board. And they call it “upside?” It’s just… potential. And potential means nothing. It’s all speculation. But people eat it up. They want to believe in something. Even if it’s based on nothing.
So, yeah, Micron stock is “undervalued.” Relatively. And it’s a “no-brainer buy.” According to whom? The people who are trying to sell you the stock? It’s always the same story. They tell you what you want to hear. They promise you riches. It’s exhausting. But I’ll probably buy some anyway. Because what else am I going to do? Watch my money sit there? It’s a terrible system. A terrible, terrible system.
