Michelle Trachtenberg Had Tons of Health Issues Before Her Tragic Death; Friend Says ‘There Was Something Medically Wrong’

A close friend of Michelle Trachtenberg disclosed that the actress faced numerous health issues prior to her untimely death at 39. In conversations with US Weekly, this unidentified friend shared that Trachtenberg often grappled with various health problems.

In the past, I’ve faced various health challenges such as back pain, bone issues, and even falls, as I vividly remember. Despite these unexpected setbacks, I made a conscious effort to keep my spirits high and stay resilient. The Ice Princess actress, in this case, was me, battling through the challenges that life threw at me in the health sector.

Regrettably, Trachtenberg succumbed to her illness in her NYC apartment on February 26th. Reports from The Post suggest that she recently received a liver transplant, and her death may have been caused by complications arising from it.

As reported by the Mayo Clinic, a variety of factors such as genetic disorders, cancer, hepatitis, or excessive drinking can potentially cause liver failure. However, it’s been stated by the EuroTrip actress’s friend that she did consume alcohol, but not to an “excessive” degree in public settings.

The source mentioned that she wasn’t someone who enjoyed wild parties; instead, she tended to keep to herself. It was also noted that those close to her were aware of her transplant, although she never disclosed specifics. Interestingly, just six days before her unexpected passing, Trachtenberg was seen socializing with friends in New York City.

Indeed, a bystander informed the news agency at the time that she looked unwell, and it was noticeable that something wasn’t right about her. The informant asserted that Sarah Michelle Gellar, who played Buffy the Vampire Slayer, seemed weak and sick during the outing.

Additionally, it was claimed by one of her neighbors that she began to appear increasingly different from her usual self in the days leading up to her unexpected passing. This revelation caused a wave of shock worldwide, leading her previous co-stars – including Blake Lively, Ed Westwick, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and others – to write moving tributes in response.

I’ve always cherished every detail about her, and now, the circumstances surrounding her passing remain a mystery to me. Despite my longing for answers, an autopsy wasn’t performed because of her family’s deep-rooted religious beliefs.
