Michele Morrone Details ‘Incredible’ Experience Working With Blake Lively on Another Simple Favor Amid Drama With Justin Baldoni

Blake Lively and Michele Morrone will appear together in the eagerly awaited sequel titled “Another Simple Favor“. They along with director Paul Feige graced the red carpet at the SXSW premiere of their film, ahead of its release on a digital platform.

The actress posed for the cameras at the event amid her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni. 

Prior to the red carpet event, demonstrators brandished signs saying “Demand Justice for Justin Baldoni. Blake is Deceitful” as they awaited Lively’s arrival.

While he spoke with reporters about his costar, he lavished praise on her, describing her as a “remarkable artist.” He commented, “We’ve developed an extraordinary friendship; we’ve grown to be such wonderful friends. She is a truly remarkable artist, an outstanding actress, and it was a delight working with her.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the filmmaker expressed his backing for Blake Lively during the It Ends With Us controversy. He declared, “I have a soft spot for Blake. I enjoy collaborating with Anna; I enjoy collaborating with Blake, and that’s really all I can share. She’s an outstanding partner in our work, and I simply adore working alongside her.

In the sequel, the movie is titled as its premiere at SXSW, and it brings back Emily Nelson, played by Lively, into Anna Kendrick’s character Stephanie Smothers’ life. When Nelson shows up at a book fair where Smothers is reading a book about her past, Stephanie starts questioning if Emily might have orchestrated an escape from prison.

The summary of the film indicates that characters Stephanie Smothers, portrayed by Kendrick, and Emily Nelson, played by Lively, are traveling to the picturesque Italian island of Capri for Emily’s lavish wedding to a successful Italian entrepreneur.

Another Simple Favor will stream on Prime Video from May 1.
