Hall is coming back not once, but twice, to reprise his iconic role as everyone’s favorite serial killer! First, we have “Dexter: Original Sin,” a prequel series that will delve into Dexter’s early life, and then there’s the mysterious “Dexter: Resurrection” where Michael C. Hall will once again bring Dexter Morgan back to life in a modern-day follow-up to “Dexter: New Blood.”
Dexter’s character seems unkillable, as confirmed at SDCC through the announcement of Michael C. Hall’s involvement in narrating a prequel series, “Dexter: Original Sin,” about his past. Surprisingly, there’s even more in store – another sequel series titled “Dexter: Resurrection” will bring Hall back to reprise his iconic role once again. We’re just as puzzled as you are about the circumstances, but we’re excited for the journey ahead.
What Is Dexter: Resurrection About?
At present, not much information is available about “Dexter: Resurrection.” Based on reports from Variety, the storyline unfolds in the contemporary era and serves as a continuation of “Dexter: New Blood,” which was set ten years after the original series’ conclusions. The intrigue deepens since Dexter supposedly perished at the end of “New Blood.” The title of this upcoming series is quite literal, to say the least.
