There’s never been more excitement about who’ll grace the Met Gala this year. It looks like big names such as Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, and Sabrina Carpenter might just show up!
Over the weekend, I had the privilege of attending an exclusive cocktail soiree hosted by Moda Operandi at The Twenty Two Hotel in the heart of New York City. Notable attendees included Anna Kendrick, Jessica Chastain, Laura Harrier, and Ariana DeBose – a testament to the event’s star-studded appeal.
Among those present were Dylan Mulvaney, Eva Chen, Adam Shulman, Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Delaney Rowe, Coco Schiffer, and numerous others. They all came together to mark the debut of the Versace Vacanza collection on Moda Operandi.
Lauren Santo Domingo and Donatella Versace supposedly organized an impressive gathering. Donatella, on her Instagram, posted pictures with Carpenter and Hathaway, writing: “What a delightful evening in New York with @thelsd and the Moda Operandi team, celebrating the debut of Donatella’s La Vacanza collection. See you at the Met tomorrow!
Beyond those individuals, it’s also likely that Rihanna will show up on the famous Met steps. According to The Daily Mail, Rihanna was seen with her partner ASAP Rocky, as well as Serena Williams, Pharrell Williams, Coleman Domingo, and James Corden at Anna Wintour’s residence in New York City on Sunday.
It seems likely that Rihanna might show up at the event, given she’s said to have been at the mentioned location before, and her partner, A$AP Rocky, holds a co-chair position for the Met Gala. Notably, Rihanna is a fashion trendsetter, so it’s quite fitting that she would be there.
