‘The Witch With One Year Left,’ follows Meg Raspberry, a 17-year-old apprentice witch, as she receives devastating news from her mentor, Faust of the Seven Sages. He informs her that she has only one year left to live due to the Death Sentence curse. The only method of salvation is collecting 1000 tears of pure joy to cultivate a Seed of Life.

Overwhelmed with sorrow, I found myself standing before Anna, who had lost her beloved mother, Iris. My heart ached for them both, so I decided to use my magical abilities to create enchanting cherry blossom illusions as a token of comfort. As I gathered two tears – a testament to their pain – I felt inspired. I made a vow then and there, promising to surpass the legendary Faust and break the curse that had befallen us all.

 

In Episode 2 of “Once Upon A Witch’s Death,” Meg’s companion Fine will drop by the Witch’s Manor. She needs assistance with a damaged pocket watch, a cherished heirloom from her grandfather. The watch stopped working because the internal spirit has lost strength.

Due to the time constraint imposed by the curse, Meg is left with no choice but to perform small wonders, such as this one, to amass a thousand joyful tears. The upcoming episode will probably depict Meg utilizing her magic to forge bonds with Fine and the residents of Lapis Town. By assisting them on a personal level, she’ll be able to move closer to her objective that could save her life.
