Meghan Markle and Drew Barrymore have displayed similar affectionate gestures, according to body language expert Judi James, who analyzed the Duchess of Sussex’s posture during her interview on The Drew Barrymore Show.

In an interview with Daily Mail, James disclosed that Markle found the host’s overly attentive demeanor overwhelming, as he was quite persistent in his interactions. He also scrutinized a series of images of them together, which were made public before the episode aired on Thursday night.

The specialist noted that the former Suits actor’s impromptu physical gestures were met with criticism in the UK. Yet, in the pictures with her and Barrymore, she appeared strikingly detached and disengaged. “This is an uncommon pose from Meghan,” the expert remarked.

James noted that she seems to be facing an equally good counterpart in Drew, as his physical interactions during her talk show have become a defining aspect of their program.
