Megan Thee Stallion vs Tory Lanez: Cry Baby Rapper Gets New Restraining Order Against Shooter As He Serves 10-Year Imprisonment

The moving testimony of Megan Thee Stallion in a Los Angeles court has led to a judge granting her a restraining order, preventing Tory Lanez – who is currently serving a ten-year sentence for shooting the Houston rapper in her feet back in 2020 – from approaching or contacting her.

As reported by TMZ, Megan appeared virtually at the Los Angeles County Superior Court and stated that the shooting incident has greatly affected her emotionally. She further expressed that she hasn’t felt well since the unfortunate event occurred.

In her testimony, the rapper Neva Play expressed that she desires a restraining order as she hasn’t found peace since she was wounded by gunfire.

Megan made clear that Lanez was employing bloggers to tarnish her image with falsehoods. She claimed he paid one such blogger through his father for these defamatory acts. As per Rolling Stone, she appeared visibly emotional as she detailed the stress and fear she’s experienced due to the ongoing situation. Additionally, she recounted instances of harassment during her performances when some audience members would shout messages like “Free Tory,” backing Lanez.

The court granted Megan Thee Stallion a five-year protective order against Tory Lanez following her persuasive testimony. This means that Tory must maintain a distance of at least 100 yards from Megan, her residence, workplace, and vehicles. Furthermore, he is prohibited from contacting Megan either in person or through any indirect means.
