Megan Thee Stallion Says THIS Show Is Her Current TV Obsession And Is ‘Pissed’ Nobody Told Her How Good It Was

As a dedicated follower and avid fan of Megan Thee Stallion, I must say her recent confession about discovering “Sex and the City” has left me both amused and envious. It’s as if she’s been living under a rock for all these years! But hey, better late than never, right?

In 1998, Sex and the City sparked a cultural craze; Megan Thee Stallion has now joined the bandwagon but expressed regret for not doing so earlier. On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the rapper shared that her latest fascination is the TV series starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, and Kim Cattrall.

She exclaimed, ‘I had no idea Sex and the City was this great!’ Now I’m upset because nobody warned me, ‘Megan, you need to watch Sex and the City. This is a must-see for every woman. Give it a try!’ She accidentally found it while scrolling through Parker’s photos and thought they looked ‘stunningly attractive.’

Initially, her fascination with the actress grew into a passion for the TV series. As she reminisced, she admitted to herself, “I wonder what this show’s about? I’ll just give it a try.” Once the ‘Mamushi’ singer began watching the series, she found herself unable to stop. She watches it during her workouts, while getting ready, and whenever she has free time.

She mentioned that her schedule is packed, but she tries to fit in watching ‘Sex and the City’ whenever possible. She also shared this curiosity with everyone around her, asking if they have watched ‘Sex and the City’. Additionally, she disclosed that she has not yet seen the 2008 film or its 2010 sequel.

Looking back at the series finale, Megan admitted that she was disappointed by it. “They kept saying ‘No, no, no, no, no, you need to watch the movie.’ So I said, ‘Alright, let’s go because I don’t get what’s going on,'” she shared.

When the talk show host subtly encouraged Megan to voice her opinions about famous characters, she didn’t mince words. Initially, she found Samantha (Kim Cattrall) an unappealing character due to her excessive sexual portrayal. However, over time, the rapper grew to admire that she was in control of men rather than being controlled by them.

She encourages others to avoid focusing too much on men and instead live their own lives, a concept that Megan immediately resonated with. Meanwhile, Charlotte, who Kristin Davis portrays, is described as charming yet somewhat eccentric, a personality she’d likely be friends with in real life. The rapper identifies with Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) because she enjoys the drama, but finds Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) unbearable, labeling her as the most problematic character on the show.
