Summary
- Offset has shared his third studio album entitled KIARI
- Features on the 18-track record come from Gunna, John Legend, Teezo Touchdown, Ty Dolla $ign, and more
- The project follows up 2023’s SET IT OFF and looks through a more introspective lens
In simpler terms, Offset, a member of the Migos, isn’t often seen being humble. Instead, he usually boasts and shows off through his bold lyrics. His last album, “SET IT OFF,” which received considerable acclaim from the hip hop community, particularly because it showcased him at the height of his career, embodied this persona. However, for his third studio album, titled “KIARI” (his birth name), he’s taking a different approach by delving deep into personal and introspective themes.
As suggested by the album trailer featuring Offset in a therapist’s office, KIARI delves into his persona that extends beyond mere rapping. While bravado remains an integral part, it intertwines intimately with moments of vulnerability and deep, self-reflective, emotionally exposed instances.
In a statement released to the media, Offset expressed, “KIARI represents me. I pushed myself creatively and poured my heart into these tracks. I carefully crafted this project over time.” He went on to say, “I’m confident in who I am, and I hope that through this album, people will come to truly understand the essence of KIARI.
The JID musical element called “Bodies” is one of those proud standout tracks, featuring samples from Drowning Pool and The Spirituals, that’s an energetic anthem showcasing the newfound dominance of this dynamic duo in today’s rap scene. Gunna makes an appearance on the album too, delivering verses for the popular song titled “Different Species.

Enhanced by extra elements from YoungBoy Never Broke Again on “Pills”, Ty Dolla $ign on “Favorite Girl”, Key Glock on “Run It Up”, YFN Lucci on “Back In That Mode”, and Teezo Touchdown on “Prada Myself.
John Legend lends his talent to an impressive track on the album titled “Never Let Go,” which is dedicated to Takeoff. The final song, “Move On,” stands out as well, with Set discussing his relationship with Cardi B, expressing repeatedly on the chorus, “I long for a peaceful departure.
As a blend of his personal self and stage persona, KIARI serves as Offset’s initial revealing of the man behind the limelight.
