Their new game, titled ‘Medieval Pig’, unveiled a trailer and demo that piques my interest. In this game, you take on the role of a pig navigating an expansive medieval world – as extraordinary as it might seem.

In this story, you’re not your usual hero – you’re a pig who’s been taken from home without understanding the reasons. Everything around feels foreign, even a bit alien, and your mind is hazy. The demo available for you to test takes you on an adventure to unravel this mystery, immersing you in a colorful open-world created using Unreal Engine 5. The graphics are stunning, offering rich forests and rugged villages that draw you in immediately.

In this demonstration, you’ll find yourself engaged in approximately 15 missions, each blending humor and emotional depth. Keen-eyed players might discover hidden surprises – these ‘easter eggs’ – adding an extra layer of excitement. You’ll not only encounter various opponents, both human and animal, but also a combat system that offers satisfyingly swift responses for a porcine character. Crafting plays a significant role, allowing you to prepare food for healing, create weapons, or craft armor with random modifications that enhance your abilities in creative ways. Basic construction skills are included as well, enabling you to influence the world around you in small but impactful ways.

I gave the demo a spin myself, and the gameplay involving pigs is absolutely thrilling! Darting through muck to evade assaults or charging opponents with a snort – it’s surprisingly enjoyable.
