In the latest installment of Medalist, Inori persisted with her intense ice-skating regimen led by Tsukasa, overcoming difficulties related to muscle exertion while steadily advancing. Tsukasa also suggested that she try out for the Beginner Badge Test.
At the event, Inori encountered a girl named Hikaru, sparking an instant bond. A fellow skater teased Inori, yet Hikaru stepped in as her protector. Although she felt jittery, Inori delivered a commendable performance and received the Beginner’s Award. However, her mother limited Inori’s skating activities until middle school.
In the following episode, Hikaru demonstrates his abilities to Inori, motivating her to press on with her adventure. In Medalist Episode 3, Tsukasa and Inori opt to participate in the Meiko Cup to enhance her competitive understanding. Inori may feel self-conscious about her dancing proficiency in this upcoming episode.
During practice, Tsukasa is going to show Inori how it’s done by demonstrating the moves. At the skating rink, Inori will meet a girl called Suzuka Mikeda, often referred to as “Mike.” This fresh interaction adds an exciting twist to Inori’s skating adventure.
Engaging in the Meiko Cup preparation and competition will offer Inori new chances to develop as a skater, bringing along both difficulties and prospects. The third episode of Medalist, named ‘Taiyaki and Cake,’ is set for release on January 19, 2025, at 1:30 am (Japan Standard Time).
This upcoming episode is set to broadcast on various Japanese television networks, including TV Asahi during the NUMAnimation time slot, CS TV Asahi, and BS Asahi. You can also stream it online through popular Japanese platforms like ABEMA and Niconico, as well as other local streaming services.
For global audiences, you can watch Episode 3 of Medalist on Disney+ since it’s not part of Crunchyroll’s Winter 2025 schedule. Additionally, the whole series can be found streaming on Hulu as well.
