In a brand new adventure titled ‘Captain America: Brave New World’, Sam Wilson will make his debut as Captain America in a solo film, while Danny Ramirez will appear for the first time as Falcon, stepping into the role previously held by Anthony Mackie.
In simpler terms, Lieutenant Joaquín Torres is an officer in the U.S. Air Force who’s also good friends with Sam Wilson. Following a significant event known as the Blip, they first crossed paths during a mission and worked together against the Flag Smashers. Later on, when Sam took up the mantle of Captain America, he handed his Falcon wingsuit over to Torres, designating him as the new Falcon.
To date, Ramirez has completed one Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) project, ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’, and it’s evident that he aspires for further roles, especially following his work in ‘Brave New World’.
Danny Ramirez playfully expressed that he’s constantly on standby, eagerly anticipating a call from Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel Studios, to resume his character Falcon in ‘Avengers: Doomsday.’ He shared that he keeps his phone with him all the time and is hoping for a notification that reads “Kevin [Feige]” on his caller ID.
I always carry my phone with me, and I’m constantly hoping to see a call from Kevin Feige pop up. However, as of now, I haven’t received any calls or messages from him yet.
Ramirez however admitted that he doesn’t know whether he will be featured in the movie.
Is there a chance Ramirez will show up in ‘Doomsday’? Although the details of the plot are still secretive, it’s been rumored that the movie might follow the ‘Time Runs Out’ storyline. Moreover, it’s likely that Robert Downey Jr. will portray Doctor Doom in full splendor throughout the film.
Given Nate Moore’s latest remarks about Sam Wilson taking charge of the Avengers during this crisis, it seems likely that Captain America will have his reliable partner by his side.
While there are whispers that several actors might feature in ‘Doomsday,’ only a select few have been officially announced at this point. The anticipated cast for ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’ includes the main characters, as well as Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Wyatt Russell, and Hayley Atwell.
