MCU May Have Found Its Miles Morales in Rhenzy Feliz, Star of ‘The Penguin’: “I’d love to give that a shot”

As a devoted fan of superhero stories and a connoisseur of exceptional talent, I wholeheartedly support Rhenzy Feliz’s aspirations to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). His passion for Miles Morales is palpable, and I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement at the thought of him bringing this beloved character to life on the big screen.

In more straightforward terms, “The Penguin” debuted its initial episode, garnering extremely favorable reviews from both critics and viewers alike. A significant portion of this acclaim can be attributed to Colin Farrell’s exceptional portrayal of Oz Cobb, as well as a top-notch ensemble cast.

Among the supporting actors, Rhenzy Feliz’s portrayal of Victor Aguilar truly stole the spotlight.

So far, we’re not well-versed about Aguilar, but there are whispers that the series could present an early rendition of Mr. Freeze or a younger variant of Victor Zsasz. As we eagerly anticipate the revelation, Rhenzy Feliz, who boasts a rich background in superhero acting, is aiming for another notable franchise: the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

In the television show “Runaways,” which is adapted from a Marvel comic, Felix plays the role of Alex Wilder. In this series, Alex is a member of a team of adolescents who stumble upon the fact that their parents are part of an evil group and band together to oppose them.

Lately, Feliz held a chat with “Agents of Fandom” where they talked about the potential for him reprising his role or assuming a fresh character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He openly expressed his wish to portray Miles Morales as a live-action character, finding plenty of depth to delve into with this character and feeling a strong bond towards him.

As a diehard fan, if given the opportunity to step into the world of comic book cinema, I’d be thrilled to explore two scenarios. Firstly, embodying Alex Wilder in the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be a dream come true. The complexity of his character and the richness of the Marvel universe make it an enticing prospect.

If asked to choose between two options, I’d opt for brand new and Miles Morales. I believe there’s a wealth of potential for live-action storytelling with him, as I see some similarities between us. I’m eager to take on that challenge.

Happy elaborated that he aims to initiate and oversee projects right from their conception, yet when it comes to acting gigs, he’s more interested in being part of superior productions. This approach has facilitated his shift from his role in Encanto to a Marvel adaptation and now to The Penguin.
