McKenna Grace Freaks Out Discovering Scott Eastwood Starred in a Taylor Swift Video

I was so surprised to learn something cool about Scott Eastwood while on set with him for Regretting You! Apparently, he was in Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” music video, and McKenna Grace hadn’t even known! It was a fun little discovery.

In a recent interview with AP News, Dave Franco and Mason Thames talked about the moment.

They all remembered watching Taylor Swift’s ‘Wildest Dreams’ music video together while on set and realizing Scott was the actor featured in it. Dave brought it up, asking Scott, “Did anyone ever tell you we all watched it?” Scott said he hadn’t known. Mason chimed in, confirming, “I remember that! We definitely all did.”

You won’t believe what happened when Grace figured it out! Apparently, she had no idea I was the guy in the video. It was a really special one for her – she’d actually compiled it herself on the spot, realizing it was me from the ‘Wildest Dreams’ video. She immediately called her mom, excitedly shouting, ‘Scott’s the guy!’ And we could even hear her mom respond with a surprised ‘No!’ It’s amazing to think that video still means so much to people.

Scott explained how he connected with Taylor Swift. He said he hadn’t met her previously, and she unexpectedly called him. “She just said, ‘Hi, this is Taylor,’ and I honestly didn’t know which Taylor she was!” he remembered.

Mason Thames shared his initial reaction to meeting Scott, telling him, “I knew even before I met you, for years actually, that you were the best-looking man I’d ever seen.”

The actors in Regretting You apparently enjoyed finding surprising links between different parts of pop culture while they were filming.
