Family and friends gathered to celebrate Maya’s special day. Her parents, actors Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, were both present at the ceremony. People magazine reported that Uma wore a long, light blue dress, and Ethan proudly walked with his daughter, carrying her flowers.
The wedding also brought together several stars from Stranger Things. Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, and Finn Wolfhard were all guests at the event, according to reports.
Leading up to the wedding, Maya had already talked about how she and her partner fell in love. She mentioned on The Zach Sang Show that their relationship began after being friends for years, while they were both working on her 2024 album, Chaos Angel. She enthusiastically shared, “I highly recommend dating your friends – it’s the best way to go!”
Christian confirmed he and Maya were engaged during an interview with The SoCal Sound. When host Julie Slater called Maya his fiancée, he agreed with a simple, “Yeah.”
Maya is juggling a successful career in acting and music – she recently appeared in Asteroid City – and has now gotten married. E! News contacted representatives for the couple but hasn’t received a response yet.
The couple began a new, romantic life together with a Valentine’s Day ceremony, and their fans are thrilled to celebrate their marriage.
