Although an exact date hasn’t been revealed yet, Amazon has confirmed that the release will occur during the latter part of the year, specifically when it says “at the end.
The series, manufactured by UFA Fiction in Germany, unfolds at an esteemed British educational institution. It chronicles the lives of Ruby Bell, played by Harriet Herbig-Matten, who hails from a modest upbringing on scholarship, and James Beaufort, portrayed by Damian Hardung, a privileged young man with inherited wealth.
In Season 2, the story continues following an overnight encounter between Ruby and James in Oxford. For Ruby, life appears ideal; however, an unexpected incident within James’ family disrupts this tranquility completely.
As a dedicated movie enthusiast, let me share some exciting news! Filming for Season 2 of my favorite series, Maxton Hall, began in the sweltering heat of July 2024 and wrapped up under the crisp autumn air in September. The wait has been grueling, but fear not, fellow fans worldwide, as Amazon assures us that our patience will be rewarded!
In a recent statement, an Amazon spokesperson revealed their commitment to delivering an exceptional experience for us all: “Our ultimate goal is to provide fans globally with the best Maxton Hall has to offer.” In pursuit of this ambition, they’ve been tirelessly working on every aspect of the production and music composition, ensuring that it will be nothing short of spectacular.

The debut of Maxton Hall was an enormous success and broke records as Prime Video’s highest-grossing international original series, reaching the top spot in over 120 different countries. As speculation swirls, whispers of a third and concluding season have surfaced; however, Amazon has yet to officially announce it.
