As a lifestyle expert, I’m always keeping an eye on what everyone’s watching, and right now, Prime Video is crushing it in the young adult romance space! Their latest show, Maxton Hall – The World Between Us, is a total hit. In fact, season two just dropped and it’s quickly become the most-watched show on Prime Video in places like the US, the UK, and even South Africa – it’s officially taken the top spot from The Summer I Turned Pretty! If you’re looking for a new binge-worthy series, this is definitely one to check out.
The show centers on Ruby and James, and the difficulties their relationship faces as they deal with personal and family problems. The second season explores James’s history, explaining why he acts the way he does, and adds more depth to their initially combative connection.
When will Maxton Hall Season 2 episode 5 release?
Hey everyone! Just a heads-up for all my Maxton Hall fans – the fifth episode of Season 2, ‘Deceptive Lightness,’ drops on November 21st, 2025. If you’re in India, you can catch it that afternoon on Amazon Prime Video. And mark your calendars, because the season wraps up with the finale on November 28th! New episodes come out every Friday, and this one’s about 50 minutes long – perfect for a cozy weekend watch.
Here’s what to expect in episode 5
Episode 5 is shaping up to be a dramatic one! After the shocking reappearance of Mortimer at the end of last week, Ruby and James are likely to reconnect. We’ll also probably find out what Ophelia – who says she’s related to James and Lydia – is really up to, which should add even more mystery.
This week’s episode will finally reveal what’s in Cordelia’s will. Elaine’s envy of Ruby could cause trouble for James and Ruby’s relationship. Lydia will have a hard time hiding her pregnancy from Sutton and her dad, Mortimer. And after Kesh stood up for him at Elaine’s party, Alistair and Kesh might start a romance – but they’re likely to keep it under wraps for now.
This show is adapted from the books by Mona Kasten, and the second season is based on her novel, ‘Save You’. Martin Schreier directed and wrote the season, with contributions from writers Ceylan Yildir, Juliana Lima Dehne, and Marlene Melchior. The main cast features Sonja Weißer as Lydia, Ben Felipe as Cyril, Fedja van Huêt as Mortimer, Runa Greiner as Ember, Justus Riesner as Alistair, Andrea Guo as Lin, Frederic Balonier as Kieran, and Eli Riccardi as Elaine.
