Matty Healy’s Old Public Service Announcement To Oasis Goes Viral Amid Rumors Of Legends Reunion

As a long-time follower of the music industry and a dedicated fan of Oasis since their Britpop era, I must say that the recent buzz surrounding their potential return has me absolutely thrilled! The teasing posts, interviews, and rumors have kept me on the edge of my seat, reminiscing about those incredible anthems like “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger.”

Online, Oasis has made an appearance and hinted at their comeback. At the same time, an interview with Matty Healy, where he addressed the iconic group, has become widely popular on social media platforms.

There have been several posts, articles, speculations, and online buzz suggesting a potential comeback from the band Oasis. Most recently, the band’s siblings, Liam and Noel Gallagher, have fueled fan excitement with a shared post hinting at their return.

Despite many in the music world yearning for the past, Matty Healy’s old interview is trending on social media. In an interview a year ago, the lead singer of The 1975 expressed his desire for the band to reunite and resume creating and performing music together.

Presently, his earlier query regarding the band Oasis’ potential comeback is generating a stir on X (previously known as Twitter). In an interview with Tom Power on Q back in February 2023, Liam Gallagher shared his thoughts about the band’s future plans. At that time, he was curious to know what they were up to following their separation in 2009.

“Imagine being part of what might be the most popular band on the planet currently, yet choosing not to participate due to feeling down,” Matty Healy expressed during the conversation with Power in the interview.

In the widely-shared online interview, Healy clarifies that the two renowned siblings have been in a standstill due to a disagreement between them.

He asked the duo from Oasis to “Grow up. Headline Glastonbury! Have a good time. Have a laugh.”

Matty Healy, famed for hit songs like About You, Somebody Else, It’s Not Living, and others, made a statement during an interview that none of the fans attending Liam or Noel Gallagher’s solo shows are not unfamiliar with Oasis. In the same conversation, he suggested a reunion: “Could you do me a favor? Get back together, stop the games. That’s my public service announcement for today,” Matty Healy concluded.

Oasis came up with a cryptic post on X during the weekend, pointing towards an announcement that will be revealed on August 27, 2024.

Interestingly, it was Liam Gallagher and his brother Noel who each posted the same intriguing content on X platform. This hint was dropped when a piece in The Sunday Times sparked excitement among Oasis enthusiasts, suggesting that fans may have the opportunity to see Oasis perform live in Manchester and London during the summer of 2025.
